Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Neelam Catering. Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully before making a booking. By confirming an order with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Bookings

  • All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email, WhatsApp, or Phone
  • A booking is only secured once a deposit has been received.
  • We require:
    • 5–7 days’ notice for small orders.
    • 7–10 days’ notice for larger catering events.

2. Deposits & Payments

  • Large bookings: 50% deposit required.
  • Small bookings: 25% deposit required.
  • Remaining balance must be paid at least 2 days before the event.
  • Late or missed payments may result in cancellation of your booking.

Payment Methods
✔ Bank Transfer
✔ Cash

Receipts or invoices will be issued after each payment.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • More than 7 days before event → Full refund of deposit.
  • 3–7 days before event → 50% refund of deposit.
  • Less than 3 days before event → Deposit is non-refundable.

If we are unable to fulfil your order due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency), you will receive a full refund.

4. Food Preparation & Delivery

  • All meals are cooked fresh on the day of delivery, following strict hygiene standards.

Options:

  • Local delivery by us or a trusted family member.
  • Large event orders will be delivered in pots, ready to serve.
  • We are not responsible for food quality if not consumed within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

  • Please inform us of all dietary needs when booking (e.g., vegetarian, vegan, halal, mild spice, allergies).
  • While great care is taken, we cannot guarantee that food is free from all allergens (such as nuts, dairy, or gluten).

6. Liability

  • Neelam Catering is not responsible for any illness, allergic reactions, or issues caused by failure to disclose dietary requirements.
  • Once food is delivered, responsibility for safe storage and consumption lies with the customer.

7. Changes to Orders

  • Small changes (e.g., guest numbers, menu items) must be requested at least 3 days before the event.
  • We will do our best to accommodate changes, but this may affect pricing.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
